Hitler: The Rise of Evil [mini series]



This movie chronicles Hitler's life from his childhood to his rise to power in Germany. Although I'm not sure about the historical facts, this movie is a must see. Robert Carlyle [I also liked him in Trainspotting] who plays Hitler has given the performance of his lifetime, he has literally transformed into a monster to play Hitler. We will be mesmerized by his powerful speeches just like the Germans did.
The movie starts with a Quote by Edmund Burke -
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. 
I always did and will believe in the above statement, there's no superior being or creator / devil who brings goodness / life / happiness or evil / death / destruction to this world but us HUMANS. If we can create evil then we certainly can destroy it.

    heh...hmmmm...im wondering....humans can destroy evil...yea could be true...but if humans destroy detroy evil, tat means no evil, so humans become perfect since all r good now.....hmmmm...im wondering....i mean im not perfect i know n even though i can try to be perfect i still dont think i can be perfect....hmmmmm....wondering....heh... :)

    Dude, I said humans can destroy evil. I didn't say "all humans can", There is a big difference. Some say "there is nothing 100% or perfect in life" but my opinion is "There are very few things in life which are 100% and perfect".
    I too think we can't achieve perfection in most of the things but that shouldn't stop us from trying. In trying you can achieve excellence, that will set you apart. I believe in excellence but I aim for perfection.
